Loft Case Study - Bryanstone Road, North London:

THE BRIEF
Convert the loft space in this Victorian mid-terrace London property to create an additional bedroom and separate bathroom that flows naturally through the house to continue its character and feel so that it doesn't look like an add on. 

THE JOB
We removed the rear section of the roof to create as much height and space for the dormer as possible connecting onto a neighbouring property on one side. We matched the staircase banisters to ensure continuity as well as reclaimed floorboards. We created a panelled section in the eaves which has built in access for storage.

THE RESULT
The additional space has completely revolutionised the way we use our home, and we were able to create a working from home office at an ideal time when we were all sudden locked at home during the pandemic.
