The clients of this Victorian terrace in Crouch End, wanted a kitchen extension with a difference. The clients wanted a homely kitchen with a modern edge. They wanted to achieve a natural, warm finish, bringing together the use of natural hardwoods, and steel in window framing.

A full side return was built up to the party wall. Natural light floods the new kitchen via a large glass roof installed above the old side return. Curved ceilings give an edge to the finish, along with meticulous carpentry that brings the kitchen together.

The final result is stunning. The extension provides the additional space the client needed for busy family life, but achieves a modern look while retaining warmth and character.
